Group Reporting Manager - #46318

As Group Reporting Manager, you will build and own Milence’s in‑house IFRS technical accounting and external group reporting capability. You will play a key role in ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and well‑controlled quarterly and annual IFRS reporting, while leading the phased transition from external advisors to internal ownership.

Reporting to the Finance Lead, you act as Milence’s technical IFRS authority and a key counterpart to auditors and external stakeholders, contributing to the strengthening of internal financial controls as the company continues to scale.

What You Will Do

IFRS technical accounting & policy ownership

• Act as Milence’s IFRS technical authority and owner of accounting judgments
• Assess and implement new and amended IFRS standards
• Maintain and further develop group accounting policies and guidance
• Prepare and review technical accounting memos and judgment documentation
  
  
  

External financial reporting

• Oversee IFRS external reporting during the transition phase from external providers
• Perform a shadow role on annual group financial statements in the initial phase
• Take full ownership of annual and interim group financial statements, including disclosures and notes
• Coordinate external audits and resolve IFRS‑related audit matters
  
  
  

Management accounts & lender reporting

• Perform qualitative review and formal sign‑off of quarterly group management accounts
• Review lender reporting and covenant compliance packages
• Assess IFRS compliance, accounting judgments, and quality of financial narratives
  
  
  

Group consolidation – technical oversight

• Provide IFRS technical oversight on group consolidations prepared by the finance team
• Review consolidation entries, eliminations, equity accounting, and foreign currency translation
  
  
  

Financial controls

• Support the Finance Lead in designing and strengthening internal financial controls
• Contribute IFRS expertise to control design, testing, and remediation activities
  
  
  

Who Are We Looking For

• You are a qualified accountant (RA, ACA, ACCA, CPA or similar) with a master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• You bring 8–12+ years of experience, with strong hands‑on IFRS expertise
• You have a background in Big 4 audit and/or accounting advisory is a strong plus
• You are experienced in working in international group and complex reporting environments
• You have deep knowledge of IFRS, external financial reporting, and professional judgment
• You are comfortable working with auditors, senior stakeholders, and change
• You are someone who takes true ownership, works in a structured way, and cares deeply about quality
