About the role

As a Senior Content Specialist – Motion, you’ll bring learning experiences to life through compelling motion design and visual storytelling. You’ll own projects from concept to final delivery, shaping how animation and motion enhance engagement, understanding, and behavioral impact across our learning content and company initiatives.

This role combines creativity, systems thinking, and innovation. You’ll work in an AI-enhanced production environment, using AI tools and automation to scale production while maintaining full creative ownership and editorial quality. You’ll also play an important role in evolving the way we work—improving workflows, defining standards, and helping the team embrace new possibilities in motion production.

What you will do

Own motion projects from start to finish

• Take full ownership of motion projects—from concept and planning to execution and delivery
• Define the visual direction, animation style, and production setup for each project
• Balance incoming requests across learning content and marketing initiatives, prioritizing based on impact and feasibility
• Ensure all deliverables meet high creative, editorial, and learning-quality standards

Drive AI-enhanced production workflows

• Explore, test, and integrate AI tools into motion design workflows
• Build and optimize AI-supported production processes and automation systems
• Experiment with AI agents for asset creation, animation support, and scalable templates
• Refine prompts and outputs to improve efficiency without compromising quality

Safeguard quality and storytelling

• Review and refine AI-generated and human-created motion assets
• Assess scripts and concepts for narrative flow, clarity, and visual feasibility before production starts
• Provide proactive editorial feedback to strengthen storytelling and learning impact
• Ensure visual consistency across formats, languages, and international markets

Improve systems and collaborate across teams

• Build reusable templates, motion systems, and scalable production standards
• Identify opportunities to improve team-wide workflows, efficiency, and output quality
• Collaborate closely with editorial, instructional design, and marketing teams
• Mentor colleagues and help raise quality standards across the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in motion graphics and animated video production
• A strong portfolio showcasing concept-driven and content-led video work, ideally within learning, education, or storytelling environments
• Experience translating scripts into engaging visual narratives and providing editorial feedback
• Proven ability to take creative ownership and independently define visual direction and production setups
• Experience building scalable systems such as templates, workflows, or motion standards
• A track record of improving production efficiency or creative quality within a team environment
• Experience mentoring or coaching other creatives
• You’re also comfortable working with AI-supported creative workflows and curious about how emerging tools can improve the way we create content.

Technical skills

• Expert-level proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and related motion design tools
• Experience with AI-powered video and animation tools such as Runway, VEO3, or similar platforms
• Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to translate learning goals into engaging animations
• Experience building reusable templates, visual systems, and scalable production frameworks
• End-to-end video production skills including storyboarding, animation, editing, and delivery
• Strong project management and prioritization skills
• Experience with prompt engineering for AI-assisted visual workflows
• A strong eye for brand consistency and visual quality across different formats and audiences
