Our Marketing & Growth Trainee Programme offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across marketing, communications, sales enablement and tender support within a global organisation. Through structured rotations, real project responsibility and mentorship from experienced professionals, you’ll develop the commercial, analytical and strategic skills needed for a successful career in marketing and growth.

Depending on business needs and development opportunities, the programme may also include exposure to international marketing initiatives and cross-regional collaboration.

What you will do as a Marketing & Growth Graduate Trainee  

As a Marketing & Growth Trainee, you will support a wide range of commercial, marketing and business development activities through a structured rotational programme. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on experience across digital marketing, communications, CRM, regional marketing and tender support while contributing to real business priorities and growth initiatives.

This role is designed to provide exposure to the full commercial lifecycle — from brand visibility and campaign execution to client engagement, pipeline management and bid support — helping you build a strong foundation for a long-term career in marketing and growth.

• Support the planning, coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns, website updates, social media activity and performance reporting
• Assist with CRM management, data quality, pipeline tracking and commercial insight reporting to support business development activities
• Contribute to PR, internal and external communications, thought leadership content and brand visibility initiatives
• Support regional marketing campaigns, events and stakeholder engagement activities across different markets and sectors
• Assist with tender submissions, bid coordination, proposal preparation and the maintenance of marketing and bid collateral libraries

As our new Marketing & Growth Trainee, you will become part of the Marketing & Growth team within the Water & Maritime business line in the Netherlands. The team supports commercial growth and market visibility through digital marketing, communications, CRM, regional campaigns and tender support, working closely with colleagues across regions and disciplines to strengthen client engagement, market visibility and business development activities.

The Programme

This two-year traineeship is designed to accelerate your professional development through structured rotations, hands-on project experience and mentorship from experienced professionals across the Marketing & Growth function. Throughout the programme, you will receive regular feedback and development support, with the opportunity to grow into future roles within the organisation based on performance, business needs and available opportunities.

What you bring

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual with strong communication and organisational skills who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic marketing and business development environment. You enjoy working collaboratively across different teams, can manage multiple priorities, and are comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced, international setting.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Commercial Economics, Business Analytics or a related field, providing a strong foundation in marketing, commercial and data-driven decision-making principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as the role involves supporting communications, stakeholder engagement and tender activities across international teams
• Experience within a B2B engineering consultancy or professional services environment is preferred, as it will help you understand complex services, client relationships and commercial processes
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous to support campaign delivery, reporting and commercial insight activities
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work accurately across marketing, communications and tender support activities
