In the Demand Planning team of FC Professional Europe, we are looking for an enthusiastic Demand Planner who enjoys working in an international environment. What We Ask

To be successful in this position, you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with forecasting and/or supply chain/logistics, preferably in an FMCG/Food environment
• Interest in statistics and modelling, with a willingness to understand forecasting models and their impact
• Experience with planning tools (such as OMP), ERP systems, Power BI, and advanced Excel
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• The ability to adapt your message to different cultures and market types
• The ability to challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships
• Strong analytical skills and a results-driven mindset
• A proactive attitude and a drive for continuous improvement

Vacancy Description

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Create, monitor, and continuously improve the demand plan for both the operational (0–13 weeks) and tactical (18–24 months) horizon, in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning
• Understand business dynamics (e.g. NPD, phase-in/out, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, activations) and translate these into an accurate demand plan
• Monitor, analyze, and challenge the quality of inputs from commercial teams (assumptions, deltas, consumption, trends, risks, and opportunities), and provide recommendations based on your expertise
• Lead the monthly demand review process as part of the S&OP cycle
• Manage activities related to constraints and allocation, ensuring alignment between demand and supply
• Monitor and proactively improve key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias, service level, and waste
• Perform in-depth analyses and provide accurate, timely reporting when needed
• Align with supply points on product availability and continuously improve end-to-end supply chain performance
• Provide management insights on quantitative and qualitative developments through periodic and ad hoc reporting
• Contribute to translating the Supply Chain strategy into a Demand Planning roadmap and drive implementation of improvement initiatives based on priorities
