About this vacancy

As a Engineer for Grid Expansion, you are responsible for designing and preparing projects within the underground infrastructure. You work on expanding and improving the electricity grid, continuously coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Designing cable and pipeline routes for electricity grid expansions
• Drawing up technical designs and execution plans (e.g., in AutoCAD and GIS systems)
• Aligning with clients, grid operators, municipalities, and permit providers
• Thinking along on the most efficient and feasible execution methods
• Monitoring the progress, quality, and costs of your projects
• Identifying risks and bottlenecks and proactively managing them
• Contributing to innovative solutions within the energy transition
• From start to finish, you are involved: from design to realization and delivery.

What we expect from you

You are technically skilled, work meticulously, and feel responsible for your projects. At the same time, you know how to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, or similar
• At least 3 years of experience in underground infrastructure engineering (cables & pipelines)
• Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD and/or GIS (ArcGIS)
• Knowledge of and interest in grid expansions and energy-related issues
• Strong communication skills in Dutch
• Proactive, results-oriented, and responsible
• Possession of a category B driver's license
