Computacenter NL is looking for a SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION (NL/EN)

Who We're Looking For

As a Sustainability Champion, you will play a central role in driving our local sustainability agenda.

Computacenter has brought together all its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities into a single Sustainability Strategy – Winning Together for our People and our Planet. The strategy is based on three pillars (People, Planet, and Solutions) underpinned by communication, solutions and standards.

In this role, you will represent our global Sustainability Strategy locally, connecting global resources with local operations and customer needs to deliver meaningful impact.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate internal and external sustainability activities: You are the key connector between customer needs and internal resources. You serve as a single point of contact and coordinate communication about sustainability, collaborating with internal teams (including international colleagues) and external stakeholders to drive awareness and engagement in sustainability initiatives
• Customer advisory: You will discuss and advise our customers regarding their sustainability goals
• Government: Assisting in and contributing to public tenders on sustainability topics
• Compliance with standards: You ensure the organization meets standards related to sustainability (such as ISO and Ecovadis), including managing Sustainability and Vendor certifications and guidelines. This includes maintaining portals, gathering information or preparing documentation to ensure compliance
• Continuous improvement: You foster a culture of continuous improvement in quality and sustainability by evaluating measures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing improvements in collaboration with relevant teams

What You Will Need

• Proven experience in a similar role as a Sustainability Coordinator, with an eagerness for further development
• Experience with Corporate Social Responsibility programs and sustainability initiatives
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to sustainability, sector-specific regulations, and legal requirements in the environmental and sustainability fields
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect and interpret data
• Project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving initiatives to successful completion
• Able to work autonomously and navigate a corporate structure while adapting quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced commercial environment
• Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
• Connect with teams and be able to motivate and inspire others
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Dutch is required
