This Is The Role - What You Will Do

As a Buyer at Evondos, you play a key role in ensuring that materials and components flow smoothly from development to production. Working closely with your Supply Chain team, Production, R&D, and other departments, you help keep availability, reliability, and transparency at the heart of our sourcing operations.

The role is based at our Supply Chain team and our office in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. We work in a flexible, hybrid way – a few days a week from the office, with the rest of your schedule shaped around what works for you and the team. You will report to the Supply Chain Director Netherlands.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and executing purchasing activities for R&D samples, prototype series, and mass production volumes
• Managing supplier collaboration: forecasting, purchasing, claim handling, and transportation – including partial involvement in RFQs and sourcing decisions
• Monitoring deliveries, handling overdue shipments, and managing invoice controls
• Managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate purchasing, pricing, and stock records
• Serving as ERP key user and maintaining data related to components, stock, and product configurations
• Leading PLM development responsibilities within the Supply Chain team
• Collaborating with Quality and suppliers on complaint handling
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes
• Supporting EU Intrastat reporting

This could be you

You bring a structured and proactive approach to procurement and supply chain work. You’re comfortable collaborating across functions, enjoy improving processes, and aren’t afraid to challenge how things have always been done.

You might have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles
• Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems
• Fluent English, written and spoken (required); Dutch proficiency is a significant advantage
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across different levels of the organization
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement attitude
• Experience in the medical devices industry is a plus-not a must have
