Procurement Coordinator - #49118

As a Procurement Coordinator in our People and Business Services department, you will be part of a cross-functional team that supports your development and career growth. You will establish and own a structured second layer of accountability that enables our Global Head of Procurement to operate at a strategic level. By independently managing defined workstreams end-to-end, from sourcing execution to supporting T1 strategic partnerships and continuous improvement, you will be central to how we deliver on our procurement ambitions at ASICS Technology and ASICS Digital.

How you will help us:

Based in our Hoofddorp office and reporting to Alejandro, the Global Head of Procurement at ASICS Technology and ASICS Digital, as part of the role you will:

• Maintain and manage the contract portfolio for our IT/Digital supplier base. You will ensure contracts are structured, categorised by tier, and maintained with governance discipline throughout the full contract lifecycle in our contract management system.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for T1 strategic partners on operational and contractual matters. You will proactively manage the contract calendar and escalate renewal or risk items within agreed timeframes.

• Execute end-to-end sourcing workstreams across the full sourcing pipeline. You will manage RFx preparation and delivery, proposal evaluation, supplier negotiation support, and contract execution, working within delegated authority and escalating only where required.

• Engage and build trust with stakeholders across business units and external partners. You will foster strong working relationships through proactive communication, timely delivery, and transparent escalation.

• Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes, tools, and governance frameworks. You will support the function's maturity roadmap by identifying and helping to deliver process improvements.

Does this sound like you?

• You have a solid foundation in procurement or sourcing. You bring 2–4 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, backed by a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Technology, or a related field.

• You're at home in an IT/Digital environment. You have hands-on experience managing sourcing events (RFx) and supplier relationships within a technology-driven environment, with exposure to contract management tools and processes. A CIPS certification is an advantage.

• You have a strong ownership mindset. You coordinate multiple workstreams end-to-end, delivering results with a high degree of precision and without constant escalation.

• You're an effective communicator. You understand the business context of IT/Digital procurement decisions and can influence and engage meaningfully with senior stakeholders, present recommendations clearly, and manage expectations across business functions.

• You have strong relationship management skills. You have a solid understanding of contract management principles, procurement governance, and supplier risk management within complex, multi-vendor environments, along with exposure to contract management tools and processes, and can use that to build trust and drive collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders across functions and geographies.

• You're analytically capable. You evaluate proposals, assess total cost of ownership, and make evidence-based sourcing recommendations.
