International Sales Manager - #49193

Cordys Analytics

Datum: 5 dagen geleden
Stad: Utrecht, Utrecht
Contracttype: Voltijd

At Cordys Analytics, we’re building the infrastructure that enables scalable, reliable AI-driven cardiovascular diagnostics across European healthcare systems.

Our platform helps clinicians detect structural and functional cardiac conditions directly from ECG data, including heart failure, myocardial infarction, and arrhythmias, enabling earlier and more accurate diagnosis at scale.

We’re looking for an International Sales Manager to help build Cordys’ commercial footprint across Europe, with an initial focus on private clinics, diagnostic centres, cardiology groups, healthcare platforms, and selected hospital partners.

This is a hands-on new business role for someone who enjoys building markets, opening doors, and turning early customer conversations into long-term commercial contracts. You will work closely with the founding team to identify priority markets, build target lists, approach prospects, qualify opportunities, manage sales conversations, and help shape Cordys’ international go-to-market approach.

This is not a role where you simply follow an existing sales playbook. You will help create the playbook: which customer segments to prioritise, which countries to enter first, which partnerships to pursue, how to position Cordys, and how to convert pilots into recurring revenue.

We are a small team with ambitious plans. The solutions we sell operate in a regulated medical environment, so trust, credibility, and a strong understanding of customer needs are fundamental parts of how we work.

If you enjoy combining international sales, healthcare innovation, and real-world clinical impact, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll work on

  • Build Cordys’ international sales pipeline across selected European markets.
  • Identify and approach prospects such as private clinics, diagnostic centres, cardiology groups, healthcare platforms, and selected hospital partners.
  • Lead outbound sales activities, including prospecting, email outreach, LinkedIn outreach, calls, introductions, and follow-up.
  • Qualify leads and understand customer workflows, pain points, decision-making processes, and commercial potential.
  • Manage sales conversations from first contact to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Convert pilots and early customer conversations into long-term commercial contracts.
  • Help build repeatable sales motions for priority markets such as Germany, France, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands.
  • Work closely with the founding team to define country priorities, customer segments, pricing approaches, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders in cardiology, diagnostics, digital health, and healthcare operations.
  • Represent Cordys in conversations with healthcare providers, partners, investors, and ecosystem organisations.
  • Help prepare commercial materials, proposals, presentations, and customer-specific business cases.
  • Collaborate with operations, product, clinical, and regulatory colleagues to ensure customer expectations are realistic and deliverable.
  • Track pipeline activity, customer feedback, market learnings, and follow-up actions in a structured way.

Why commercial people like working here

  • Real ownership over international growth and market entry.
  • A clear unmet need: cardiovascular diagnostics are under pressure, and scalable AI-driven workflows can make a real difference.
  • A strong clinical and technological proposition in a regulated medical environment.
  • The opportunity to help shape Cordys’ commercial strategy from an early stage.
  • Direct access to founders, clinicians, AI experts, and operational decision-makers.
  • Exposure to multiple European healthcare systems and customer types.
  • The chance to build senior relationships across cardiology, diagnostics, digital health, and healthcare platforms.
  • A small, ambitious team with short lines, high ownership, and little bureaucracy.
  • A role where commercial work directly contributes to better, faster, and more scalable cardiac diagnostics.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, partnerships, or commercial roles.
  • Experience selling into healthcare, medtech, diagnostics, digital health, health IT, or another complex B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline, open new accounts, and manage opportunities from first contact to close.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
  • A structured and proactive approach to prospecting, qualification, follow-up, and deal management.
  • Ability to understand clinical, operational, and commercial customer needs.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage environment where priorities evolve and ownership matters.
  • Strong commercial judgment: you know when to pursue an opportunity, when to qualify out, and how to move a deal forward.
  • Fluent English.
  • Additional European languages such as Dutch, German, French, Spanish, or Italian are a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe.
  • Citizenship in an EU/EEA member state or possession of a valid Dutch work permit.
  • Currently based in the Netherlands or open to regular travel to the Netherlands.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cardiology, ECG diagnostics, Holter monitoring, medical imaging, diagnostics, or clinical workflow solutions.
  • Experience selling software, SaaS, AI, data-driven solutions, or diagnostic services into healthcare.
  • Existing network among private clinics, diagnostic centres, hospitals, cardiology groups, healthcare platforms, or digital health partners.
  • Experience with international market entry or building sales in new countries.
  • Experience converting pilots or proof-of-concepts into recurring commercial contracts.
  • Familiarity with regulated medical environments, MDR, digital health procurement, or hospital buying processes.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
  • Startup or scale-up experience.
  • Experience working with distributors, channel partners, or strategic partnerships.

Benefits

    • Competitive salary.
    • Equity participation.
    • Meaningful commercial ownership and influence over international growth.
    • The opportunity to help scale next-generation AI infrastructure with direct clinical impact.
    • A highly motivated, experienced, and ambitious team.
    • Flexible working hours and part-time options.
    • Hybrid/remote work possibilities.
    • Office space at UtrechtInc on the Utrecht Science Park.
    • 25 vacation days plus public holidays.

Diversity & inclusion

We value diversity of background, experience, and perspective, and strongly encourage women and underrepresented groups in commercial, healthcare, and technology roles to apply.
