Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a Front Office Host to be the friendly face of our hotel.

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a welcoming hotel with 330 rooms, serving both business and leisure guests in a casual and comfortable atmosphere. We believe in caring for people so they can be their best—our guests and our colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• You bring your unique personality to our team of dedicated Front Office Hosts;
• You increase guest satisfaction scores by creating connections with our guests;
• You take ownership in providing a memorable experience – from checking in through to checking out;
• You take care of internal as well as external phone calls;
• You take ownership of handling guest complaints and requests in a timely manner;
• You are pro-active in working towards achieving our team and hotel goals.

• This role is graded under the Dutch Horeca CLA using the ‘referentiefuncties Horeca’ and is classified in salary group IV, including the applicable salary scale for full‑time employment. The corresponding gross monthly salary scale ranges from €2.462,64.–€2.778,00, based on full‑time employment. The starting level within the scale depends on experience.
• We offer 25 vacation days (full-time), 8% holiday allowance, travel allowance, daily meal, and 5 extra paid paternity leave days after 1 year

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• You have a European passport or Dutch working permit
• You are fluent in English and have strong communication skills;
• You are flexible working different shifts; morning and evening
• You are passionate about hospitality;
• You have an enthusiastic and caring attitude;

Preferred qualifications:

• You have experience in a customer-oriented job;
• You are familiar with OPERA and/or Micros.
