Suus Plesman, wife of KLM founder Albert Plesman, quietly shaped history through hospitality. Today, Restaurant Suus carries on her legacy, bringing people together through shared stories and exceptional meals.

We are looking for a Kitchen Trainee to join our team in our brand-new kitchen. Working closely under our Executive Chef, Kyan van Bommel, and the Chef de Cuisine, you’ll assist with the daily operations of Suus with heart, skill, and creativity. Together, we aim to bring the culinary standard of Suus to the highest level and crafting a dining experience that is both refined and deeply memorable.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with the preparation of dishes for SUUS and meeting & events for De Plesman.
• Performing preparatory tasks in the kitchen.
• Help the senior chefs and assist in all kitchen preparation.
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing ordered food supplies.
• Uphold HACCP standards and contribute to a clean, efficient working environment.
  
  

Who You Are

• Prior experience is not needed only a passion about quality, creativity, hospitality, and teamwork.
• Driven to consistently raise the culinary bar, while remaining grounded in genuine hospitality.
• Calm under pressure, structured, and a strong communicator.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
