Data & Integratie Engineer - #50049

Tuinmaximaal is the European biggest manufacturer in Verandas and glass sliding walls. From our showrooms in the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom, as well as via our webshop, we serve tens of thousands of customers each year. We are growing rapidly — which places increasingly high demands on our systems and processes.

To support this growth, we are looking for a Data & Integration Engineer who connects our business processes technically, ensures stability, and contributes to shaping the future.

What will you do?

You will work on the beating heart of our IT: the integrations between our operational systems. Think of Exact (finance), Bumbal (planning), and Warpspeed (WMS). These integrations currently run on Pentaho and must remain stable — while we simultaneously migrate step by step to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

You ensure everything keeps running smoothly and that the transition is handled intelligently:

• Maintain and improve existing integrations and data flows (SQL, REST APIs)
• Analyze existing processes and translate them into future-proof solutions
• Contribute to building integrations within the new D365 landscape
• Identify and resolve disruptions, errors, and performance issues
• Build technical logic, data flows, and integrations
• Collaborate with colleagues within IT, data/BI, and the business
  
  

From process knowledge to platform innovation

In the initial period, you will dive deep into our business processes. You will learn how our systems — from planning and logistics to finance — are interconnected, where dependencies lie, and what is truly needed to keep everything running smoothly. This knowledge is not a side aspect: it forms the foundation for making well-informed decisions about how things can be improved and optimized.

While you manage and enhance existing integrations, the new landscape around Microsoft Dynamics 365 is being built step by step. Once that foundation is in place, you will apply your process knowledge where it truly adds value: designing smart automation using Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI. Not as an outsider stepping in, but as someone who understands the processes from within and helps shape their future.

What will you bring?

• Several years of experience building integrations between systems
• Knowledge of SQL and working with various data sources
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and common authentication methods
• Strong analytical skills for improving existing processes
• A structured working approach with focus on maintainability
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL tooling such as Pentaho or similar
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Automate, or Power Apps
• Experience with migrating legacy processes
• Affinity with e-commerce or operationally complex environments (WMS, planning, finance)
