Role Purpose

The Business Development Director (Brand Partnerships, EMEA) is a high-impact, senior commercial role responsible for driving strategic growth and securing multi-market partnerships directly with top-tier brands and advertisers across the EMEA region. Acting as an entrepreneurial force, you will build senior-level relationships, orchestrate complex enterprise-level contracts, and pioneer our "Conscious Business Performance" narrative.

This role requires a sophisticated blend of strategic vision, digital media expertise, and a relentless bias for execution to expand our non-agency, direct-to-brand book of business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth & Market Expansion
    • Identify, qualify, and close high-value brand partnerships utilizing your established industry network, personal prospecting, and targeted vertical strategies.
    • Develop and execute a verticalized go-to-market plan designed to win direct budgets on YouTube and emerging social/video platforms.
    • Partner closely with the Head of Brand Partnerships, EMEA to map long-term regional revenue opportunities and set growth targets.
  • Enterprise Account & Partnership Management
    • Lead regional brand partnerships from inception to execution, including master service agreements (MSAs), framework contracts, strategy briefs, and reporting.
    • Own and incrementally scale a dedicated book of business by championing client satisfaction, deep-level relationship building, and proactive upselling.
    • Formulate and maintain meticulous short- and long-term Account Plans for key enterprise clients to secure consistent renewals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
    • Partner side-by-side with local Sales and Client Solutions Managers (CSMs) to expand localized business, align on joint pitches, and fulfill ad-hoc brand requests.
    • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders regarding contract structures, planning, and global campaign workflows to ensure seamless delivery.
    • Work alongside technical and sales teams to continuously educate brands on the value of managed and self-service offerings, maximizing client ROI.
  • Operational & Market Excellence
    • Maintain flawless pipeline accuracy, interaction logging, and revenue forecasting within Salesforce.
    • Keep a sharp pulse on programmatic, digital video, and data measurement trends to position Channel Factory ahead of industry shifts.
    • Travel regularly across the EMEA region to cultivate face-to-face relationships with top-tier advertisers and lead high-stakes presentations.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • 10+ years of hands-on commercial experience at a tech publisher, digital media company, or media agency, backed by an active, senior-level network of top-tier advertisers in EMEA.
  • Strong familiarity with programmatic dashboards, bidding models (e.g., DSPs, PMDs), and digital measurement setups.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and group presentation skills, with a proven track record of confidently leading discussions with C-suite stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset with the capability to operate with high autonomy and little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in numerical modeling, Excel calculations, pivot tables, and commercial data visualization.
  • Prior experience or certifications in Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, or TikTok are highly advantageous.
