Job Description

Canon EMEA is looking for an European Demand & Supply Planning Specialist in the DP&S Business unit. In this role you will be actively involved in processing orders in accordance with Canon guidelines and procedures. They will monitor forecast of internal customers to have a reliable interface of sales projection to supplier; ensure that CENV delivers products that conform to customer order and delivery requirements; provide customers (National Sales Organizations, Regional Sales Organizations, Canon Europe Ltd and other departments.) with key information required to manage their business activities; and monitor and coordinate the delivery process for DS BU controlled items in a main warehouse and satellite warehouses including periodic replenishment activities.

As a specialist you will also handle the assigned Canon Product Groups, suppliers, and customers according to existing agreements and policy; contribute towards the improvement of the overall activities and service level from European Demand and Supply Management; and coordinate the return logistics and rework process activities.

Responsibilities

As a European Demand & Supply Planning Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Manage Demand & Supply balance properly to keep inventory at healthy level.
  • Take initiative to adjust plans accordingly with related stakeholder when any deviation is found.
  • Support daily activities related to NSO’s, DRBG RSO’s and other customers as well as assigned product groups.
  • Accurately process all orders and ensure conformity of orders with policy, order completeness, correct product codes and use experience to avoid possible errors or problems.
  • Ensure the delivery service levels in accordance with the customer requirements.
  • Give accurate and supportive answers to questions from customers.
  • Respond quickly and take appropriate action to monitor, track and communicate status of critical backorders.
  • Claim and return logistics handling. Ensure that serial control number of return goods is properly handled in RMA to prevent discrepancy in Install Base.
  • Maintain all relevant databases and information required by role and support colleagues in the division to obtain information necessary for their roles.

For This Role, You Will Have

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • University-level education or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Good analytical skills and numerical accuracy.
  • Experience in an international business environment.
  • Proactive, flexible and team-orientated

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Oracle or a similar system
