As part of the European Table Sauces R&D Team, you’ll be working closely with multiple functions on the delivery and implementation of projects for the European Market, which will give you a real feel for the company and the business. You will be working with great autonomy and will interact with various colleagues from formulation, product development, process, nutrition, sensory, regulatory, and microbiology. We are looking forward to your support in our portfolio, increasing the company’s knowledge, optimizing current products, and process design to be future proof and sustainable.
Basic Requirements for all:
You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus)

- EU - Students: Need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the duration of the internship.
- Non - EU Students: Need to be enrolled at a Dutch University for the whole duration of the internship.
Assignment and key activities:
- Assist in the development and optimization of new and existing products, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
- Conduct kitchen and pilot experiments, including formulation, ingredient testing, and product analysis
- Support sensory evaluation processes, including the preparation and presentation of samples
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to ensure successful product launches.
- Document and analyze experimental data, providing insights and recommendations for product launches and improvements
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for new products and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Specific Team Requirements
- Food Science/ Technology/ Engineering or Natural Sciences (Bio, Biotech, Chemistry) Bachelor or Master’s student.
- You are a self-starter and independent worker with good analytical skills and are highly motivated. Scientific driven and hands on with a business mindset and good communication skills.
- Course or interest in business is a plus
- Course in data handling, statistics is needed
- Research and lab experience is highly desirable

- Screening interview – An initial interview conducted via Microsoft Teams.
