BEACH MANAGER

We are in the New York State Local Retirement System (NYLRS). TEACHERS AND SCHOOL STAFF, contribute to your pension!

Beach Managers Are Compensated Based On Experience.

The Town is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Beach Managers. Beach Managers are responsible for the safe operation of all-parking areas and buildings located with-in the Parks and shall report directly to the Sr. Beach Manager. They have complete authority over Beach Attendants and others associated with the operation and maintenance of the area. The Beach Managers also have the authority, to report any lifeguard-related problems to the Chief Lifeguard, Senior Beach Manager and/or the Director if they cannot be resolved at the time of occurrence. Salary is $21 per hour, negotiable.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from high school AND four (4) seasons of experience in the management or operation of a beach, pool, park facility, or summer camp, including one (1) season in a supervisory capacity; or,
• Two (2) seasons as an Assistant Beach Manager
  
  

Note: College Education may be substituted for the above non-supervisory experience on a year-to-year basis up to a maximum 3 years where 1 year of college equals 1 season.
