NURSE PRACTITIONER (VERPLEEGKUNDIG SPECIALIST) - #52548

Due to the continued growth of our Health Check Department and expanding preventive healthcare services, the International Health Centre The Hague is seeking a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (Verpleegkundig Specialist) to join our multidisciplinary team on a part-time basis (24 hours a week)

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality preventive healthcare services to private individuals, international companies, embassies, and corporate clients.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A valid BIG registration as a Nurse Practitioner/Verpleegkundig Specialist
• Relevant clinical experience in preventive medicine, occupational health, primary care, or health screening programmes
• Experience conducting health assessments and interpreting diagnostic results
• International experience and affinity for multicultural healthcare settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• An excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is highly desirable
• Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset
• The ability to work independently while maintaining a patient-centred approach
  
  

Tasks And Responsibilities Will Include

• Conducting comprehensive private preventive health checks and executive medical examinations
• Performing pre-employment and fitness-for-work medical assessments
• Carrying out corporate health screening programmes for international companies and organizations
• Reviewing medical histories, physical examination findings, laboratory results, and diagnostic investigations
• Providing personalised lifestyle, wellness, and preventive health advice
• Identifying health risks and advising patients on appropriate follow-up care and preventive measures
• Delivering vaccination and travel health consultations
• Preparing medical reports and health assessment summaries
• Coordinating with physicians and specialists when further investigation or treatment is required
• Contributing to the ongoing development and expansion of our preventive medicine and health screening services
• Ensuring excellent patient experience and continuity of care for our international client base
