About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager Onshore to drive growth and strategic partnerships within the onshore cable industry. This is a senior role focused on identifying new opportunities, expanding market share, and building strong relationships across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong network in the cable industry, testing and perfricated cable solutions and if possible knowledge of EPC contracting, and proven experience in international business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
• Develop and implement business development strategies for onshore cable solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners.
• Lead commercial processes and negotiations at senior level.
• Prepare business cases, quotations, and proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize offerings and services.
• Monitor performance and report on progress and KPIs.
  
  

Focus Areas

• Onshore cable terminations for high-voltage connections (75kV and above).
• Onshore testing of cable connections for offshore substations and onshore stations.
• Prefabricated cables for turbines and related applications.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• HBO/WO degree or equivalent, preferably in a commercial or technical discipline.
• Demonstrable experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Strong understanding of EPC contracting and international project environments.
• Extensive network within the cable industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial and analytical abilities.
