AI/Data Engineering Internship - #55697

For one of our partner companies, active in the professional football market, Hypersolid is seeking an AI/Data Engineering intern for a dedicated, hands-on assignment.

The assignment

You will build a working prototype of an AI-driven Transfer Data Model: a system that structures transfer data from multiple sources and makes it usable for analysis, decision-making, and matchmaking between clubs and players.

This is not a research internship. You will design, build, and demonstrate something real.

Your work includes:

• Designing a conceptual and logical data model for player and transfer data
• Building a data dictionary and processing example data from Excel, contracts, or other documents
• Developing an AI/data extraction flow using Python and LLMs
• Building basic matching logic between clubs and players
• Delivering a working prototype with documentation and a demo
  
  
  

What We Are Looking For

You are an HBO or WO student in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Business IT, Informatica, or Econometrics with a technical focus. You are practical, curious, and builder-minded. You translate messy business data into clean models and working code.

You are comfortable with Python, interested in LLMs and data extraction, and independent enough to scope your own work. Affinity with football or scouting is a plus, but technical drive and product thinking matter more.

Working proficiency in English is required. Dutch is a plus.
