Trader French Speaking

We are looking to strengthen our team.

Do you have some affinity with Sales? Then we’re looking for you!

As a Trader you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with customers and suppliers, identifying new business opportunities in domestic and international markets, and handling the quotation and sales process from start to finish. You will also analyze sales data, manage your customer portfolio, and represent the company at international trade fairs.

Who is BFG Trading?

We are a small-scale team of both young and experienced colleagues in a dynamic company, part of parent company Boon Food Group, trading in a range of more than 10,000 products, both food and non-food.

We operate in both domestic and international markets, from full pallets to various wholesalers within the Netherlands to exporting sea containers to customers outside the EU. Our modern head office is located in the industrial area of Dordrecht.

What You Bring..

• You have at least a demonstrable bachelor's degree, preferably in a commercial or economic field.
• You are social and outgoing, and you have a knack for trading;
• Some experience in a sales role within the FMCG food industry is an advantage;
• An excellent command of French and Englisch (spoken and written);
• Knowledge of German and/or French/Spanish or another foreign language is a plus;
• Stress-resistant, can work both independently and as part of team and you are available full-time.
  
  

What You Can Do..

• Maintain existing relationships and conduct negotiations with customers and suppliers;
• Explore new opportunities both domestically and internationally;
• Prepare quotations and ensure proper follow-up through to the final invoice;
• Create analyses using sales reports;
• Visit (international) trade fairs and manage your customer portfolio.
