About The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager – High Voltage to lead multidisciplinary engineering projects within high-voltage power infrastructure. Working on projects ranging from 110 kV to 380 kV, you will oversee the full project lifecycle from design through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Depending on your experience, you may take on the role of Project Manager or Technical Manager within integrated project teams, collaborating closely with technical specialists, contract managers, environmental managers, and project control professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across electrical, civil, structural, telecommunications, cable, overhead line, BIM, and GIS disciplines.
• Translate project objectives into technical requirements, design criteria, and engineering solutions.
• Ensure technical integration and coordination across all project disciplines.
• Apply Systems Engineering principles throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate engineering designs for technical feasibility, constructability, safety, and project risks.
• Promote Safety by Design principles and ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
• Manage project scope, planning, budget, quality, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and engineering partners throughout project execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project partners.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (HBO/University) in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering projects involving high-voltage installations or complex technical infrastructure.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Knowledge of high-voltage substations, transformers, GIS installations, and cable systems.
• Experience with project management methodologies and contract models such as IPM, UAV-GC, PRINCE2, or PMP.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Willingness to travel and work at project locations when required.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience with infrastructure or energy transition projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Knowledge of relevant electrical engineering standards, including IEC and NEN standards.
• Experience working with engineering consultancies, utilities, or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of safety management within engineering and construction environments.
• Experience with BIM and GIS coordination.
