Pt. S.N. Shukla University, Shahdol (M.P.) invites applications for Guest Faculty for Session from eligible and interested candidates

About- Application is invited from the eligible candidate for teaching purposes as Guest Faculty for the Session 2022-23 in the following subjects. The candidate must be familiar with both online and offline teaching on various web platforms. Required Qualification will be as per UGC Regulation 2018, The Eligibility of the candidate shall be as per the UGC norms, accepted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh for the Selection of Guest Faculty.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualifications As Per UGC Regulation 2018

• Masters’s Degree with 55% marks
• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the university grant commission (Minimum Standard and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. Degree regulations 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET).
  
  

Relaxation as per UGC regulations 2018 on the minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other Academic Staff in University and colleges.

• Relaxation of 5% shall be allowed at the bachelor as well as the Masters’s level for the candidate belonging to scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer/ Differently abled.
• Relaxation of 5% shall be provided (from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D.
  

Degree holders who have obtained their Master`s Degree prior to 19th September

1991)

• The Eligibility of the candidate shall be as per UGC norms accepted by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh for the selection of guest faculty.
• Applicants’ merit list in every subject shall be prepared category-wise- (i) Category 1: Ph.D. and NET/SET in the concerned subject.
• Category 2: Ph.D. and NET/SET in the concerned subject.
• Category 3: M.Phil in the concerned subject.
• Category 4: Master`s Degree in the concerned subject.
  

Job/Position Description-

The application must be accompanied by non-refundable fees of Rs. 500/= (General and OBC applicants) and Rs. 250/- (for SC / ST applicants) to be paid online. Application form, norms and other details are available on the website ptsnsuniversity.ac.in.

The tenure of the guest faculty shall be for one academic session ending on 30th April and the invitation will terminate automatically on 30th April.

The guest faculty shall be entitled to a fixed monthly honorarium as decided by the Executive Council of this University.

The candidate shall upload all the necessary self-attested copies of certificates/mark sheets.
