Your mission

As a Front Office Agent (f/m/d) in Part-Time (2 to 4 days per week), you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests. You'll make them feel at home from the moment they step in. You’ll play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience and ensuring everything runs smoothly at the front desk.

Ambassador, host, awesomeness, people and planet person

As the first point of contact for everyone who walks into our hotel, you are the go-to person at the front desk. You are responsible for everything from check-in, upselling our products and services, The Hague expert to check-out. In this beautiful hotel you don't have to hide behind a reception desk but walk around so the guest is really the centre of attention. You'll be happy to explain and give them some great tips on how to explore the beautiful city of The Hague on one of our rental bikes.

Guests can come to you for all the ins and outs of Staybridge Suites and The Hague. Whether it's recommending great places to eat, helping with the transport, or just having a nice conversation, you've got it! It will give you energy to connect with guests all day long and serve free delicious coffees. You will also be busy enrolling IHG memberships, selling room upgrades and switching between different departments and solving complaints and possible problems. This way every day flies by. Staybridge Suites The Hague - Parliament is a long stay concept where we as a team really want to give the guest a feeling that they are at home.

Your profile

• Hospitality is in your DNA, you know what the guest needs
• Preferably you have experience in (international) hotels or in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch or other languages are a plus)
• Preferably you live in or near The Hague
• You have a proactive attitude, can switch quickly and pick up working with different systems
• You are a team player but can also work independently
• Affinity with Opera is a plus
• It is useful if you already have experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP
